How does the Free
Content Script work?
Once
you insert the small script on your page, every time that page is
loaded in a browser a JavaScript is called from PetPeoplesPlace.com
to display your choice of content in the position of the page where
you inserted the script. You must be able to edit the HTML code
on your web site. Type in the script exactly as shown on our web
site.
Why might I be
having problems with the script?
Many free hosts (e.g. Tripod, Angelfire,
Geocities) do not allow JavaScript and so inserting the code will
not work. If you have installed the script properly your site will
display your choice of free content when displayed in your browser.
You must be connected to the internet for this to work
properly. If you see the actual words of the script instead, you
have installed incorrectly - probably using a WYSIWYG editor such as
MS FrontPage or Macromedia Dreamweaver. You need to insert the
script into the html of the page, not the 'normal' view of the

Can I customize the content?
No. Because of the technical nature of the feed, it is not at this
time possible to customize the script to match the look of your
site. It is also in our interests to make our syndicated content
recognizable no matter what site it is on.
The advice feed does not seem to change when I
refresh the page. Why?
Unlike the phrases feed, which changes every time you reload the
page, the advice feed changes on a daily basis. Therefore, every day
you will see new content on your site, but not when you simply
refresh the page. The exact time at which the content changes will
depend on the time zone in which the server that hosts your website
lies.
