How do I post a new message in
the forums?
Simply navigate to the forum of your choice and
click 'New Topic', or Click
Here to go directly to the posting page (you
must be Registered
and Signed
In). Note that members are not allowed to post website links to our
forum until they have posted a minimum of 10 replies
- this is to protect our community against
those who join simply to promote their own website.
How do I upload
pictures and why isn't it working?
When you post a new message or reply, you can add up
to 3 pictures to your message which will be
displayed as thumbnails that link to the larger
version. When you try to upload pictures which are
too large (greater than 2MB) or in the wrong
format (not JPEG or GIF) your pictures will not be
uploaded and your message will not display them.
How do I change my forum avatar or personal bio?
Visit your Forum
Preferences page and update your preferences.
What is member status?
Next to each user's name on discussion pages, and on
their forum profiles, the member's status is shown.
A member's status is designed to reflect their
contribution to our forums, as described below. Only Forum Leaders have the power to
modify, delete and lock discussion topics (see also Forum
Moderators and Rules).
What are the requirements for each member status?
Forum Leaders are selected individually and only
members asked to become Forum Leaders are able to
be. All other member statuses occur automatically. A
member's status depends almost solely on the average
rating that other users have posted for that
member's forum replies - new discussions can not be
rated and do not count.
All members are "Forum Newbies" until
they have been rated at least 5 times. After this, a
member's status is calculated by two different
means:
For Members Having Between 5 & 10 Ratings:
