if your unsure your best to speak with the vet, and/or make sure you have the correct spelling and do a search on it, though one of the links on this site its has many including one like vet.com it may give you some answer;s my old cat was on some steriods after being dxd diabeties, i remember her getting fatter and eating a lot more.. but dont remember anything else, sorry i dont know what steriod it was…. sorry to hear about puss;’s cancer….. and hope that the mass can be removed hugs tasha
my cat Samie-Jo was diagnosed with cancer in his small bowel yesterday. He is 14-1/2 yrs young. Aside from surgery to remove the mass, it was suggested to give him prednisone which might ??? possibly shrink the mass and it would also increase his appitite. (lost 3-1/2 lbs in 6 months) Does anyone know what side effects this steriod can cause?
