I just got a neutered 5 yr old cat last week. He was with another cat and a dog and now he is here with us and our 3 dogs who like cats. First issue is, that he lived with a large dog and doesn’t like my two chihuahua’s but is fine with my Whippet, I figure that will just take time. The big problem is that he meows for at least two hours around 3-4am! He has access to his litter box, food and water, bedding, etc. But wanders around the house meowing. Last night I sat with him and even when he was on the couch with me being petted he still meowed. I’ll have to give him back if we can’t figure this out, we’re all losing too much sleep.
