Recently my female cat (11 yrs old) was treated for a urniary tract infection. Now she has a rash. Is there medicine for this; does she need to go back to the vet or will it go away?

    Where exactly is the rash?
Is it around the anus or the base of her tail?
If so, it could be that her anal glands are too full and need expressing.
Those are the sacs located on your cat’s ass at 4 and 8 o’clock.
Normally they secrete a fluid when your cat takes a crap but sometimes they get too full or become impacted.
See the vet to have him express them. If they are impacted, your cat may need to be sedated, as a catheter may be necessary, and your cat may also need an antibiotic.
