That's a common eye infection, due to lack of vitamin C. Guinea pigs need a lot of vitamin C.. You should put some type of vitamin C powder in its water, or buy liquid vitamins for guinea pigs at a pet store. It's very uncomfortable for the guinea pig, and you should see a vet for eye ointment. Also feed the guinea pig apples, oranges, bananas & green vegetables for added vitamin C. I used to have four guinea pigs of my own. : )

Hi thank you for the reply but i dont think it is that. I have 7 guinea pigs so i know when they have a lack of vitimin C. Just before i wrote this message i gave them some greens, and they have plenty of muslie packed with vitimin C. Also like i said before he is in no pain and when dab his eye with no water he does not jerk or squeek. I think his has got into some sought of fight and it has got a bit infected.
Thanks anyway. Meg.
