hibernation is not good for hamsters because during this time they don't eat they don't drink so they can basically starve to death and become badly dehydrated during this time. and i have looked every where for the temp that they go into hibernation but all the sites i visited said that when the temperature drops below normal they can go into hibernation. now if i were you i would try and keep the room that the hamster is in warm for him. just a question but if your house has no heat or anything to keep him warm how do you stay warm yourself? i think maybe you should look into getting some kind of heat. i hope i gave u the info you needed and i hope your hamsters does not go into hibernation.
