my sons hamster has chewed its front left leg so badly, it has removed most of the fur and is very red(bloody) and has little bumps(scabs?) all over it. we have no idea why, and it also appears that he has gotten smaller in size. we are afraid he may "chew himself" to death if he is not stopped. why is he doing this?
