i think my rabbit is ill

My rabbit has lost weight in the past few days and i asked the vet about it because he didnt seem energetic but hes eating. she told me to check his teeth and i did, his teeth are out of line and he is getting them fixed, but if thats the problem, why has he lost so much fur? it was black but now his hair is white/grey. can you give me a second opinion please?
