A companion for my mouse

Hello,
My pet mouse, Ben just died and her sister Michael is left alone. I was wondering if I should get her a new companion or not. If it is advisable then should Age difference be a problem Or should I look in the same age category? Michael is about 2 Years. Any advice would be extremely welcome.
