My 13 year old pet dog died

My 13 year pet dog Tiny, who had been with me since I was 6, died on Thursday. We grew up together and she died while I was not in town. I am finding it impossible to deal with her death and cannot believe that my baby is no longer with me. I also feel very guilty that I was not with her to say good bye to her. Please help, I'm finding it impossible to cope and feel so lonely.

I know that losing Tiny was a terrible loss for you and I wanted to let you know how sorry I am. I lost my Lucy 2 weeks ago and I know that Tiny wasn't just a pet but a big part of your life. Tiny was lucky to have you as their loving owner. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
   

I lost my wonderful companion of 9 years Shiloh. If it had not been for my faith in the Lord it would have been a lot harder. I miss her, but He let me know He was taking her to a special place to wait on me. He let me know she just went into a sweet special sleep and she was not feeling the separation I was. She will be waiting on me and I will be the first face she will see besides Him. I read the poem Rainbow Bridge one night and the very next day I received the poem in the mail! I knew then He was letting me know, that she is indeed in special lovely place and just waiting until I come and call her to come home with me where we will never again have to say goodbye. I pray you will find comfort and there is no other who can give you comfort other than HIM! God Bless
