I lost my old Man (Baylee the Wonder Dog a Shep Mix) Last year. I still think about him all the time. He was just the best dog I ever had. He work with children that were in crisis, and mentally challenge. I once stopped a autistic child who was hitting Baylee with a plastic bat. Baylee just stood there letting the child hit him. when I stop the boy, Baylee just turned to the child and bark and whinned as to say "you should not hit me". He never growled or snapped at a child.
He raised my cat Lillee from the time she was 8 weeks old. he would brake off a piece of his bones to give to her to chew. Till this day she acts more like a dog then a cat.
Baylee loved Chritmas He would open up his gifts one at a time. It got so bad that we couldn't put out the stockings until the last minute, because he would go to his stocking and bark for us to take it down and give it to him. Christmas will never be the same.
A friend sent me this website check it out:
Thanks for listening,

That is so cute about the stocking!
It took me years to get over my older dog passing. She was my best friend. She would let me bathe her with the cold hose, and when she'd slink away I would call her back and she'd come back, tail between her legs, no matter how much she didn't want to.
When we kids would sleep outside to camp, she had to be outside too, she would bark until mom would let her out and sleep at the edge of the yard all night barking at the threatening rabbits.
She would eat anything too! Once she ate a pound of milk chocolate! Apparently she was fine, we didn't fine out until we found the wrapper 2 days later.
Then once she snuck on the table and ate some hour'derves, and got 2 toothpicks lodged in her throat that needed surgery to remove!
She was as part of my family as any.
