Before considering a puppy, is someone home all day to care for a puppy? If not then get an adult & there are plenty of them needing a home in shelters & boxer rescues. Remember boxers are of the bully breeds so read up on any of them. The best place to find honest factual information on a PB dog is on the web sites of the breed rescues. IF you are going to get a puppy, then you need to do a lot of research on how to find a reputable breeder. These dogs have been so over produced by the mills & BYB's that it is worth waiting a year for a well bred dog. IF you decide on an adult, what you are getting will be obvious

We have a female boxer, and we adore her! Boxers have A LOT of energy. They require a lot of attention and play time, walks, etc. They\'re not a dog you can just leave in the backyard. My friend has a male boxer and he is sweet too. Boxers are very personable, LOVING, they think they\'re lap dogs, funny, goofy, silly, can be a little territorial at times. We love Rizzo so much, she makes us very happy. Anything else you want to know?
