time to say good-bye

Just wanted to thank everyone who answered my posts about my cat. I will be putting her down tomorrow morning as she has developed another cancerous lump and she isn't really eating/drinking anymore. She has been the best 14 years of my life and no other cat can replace her specialness.

I'm so sorry for your loss! I recently put down my cat of 13 1/2 years due to illness. It was one of the hardest times in my life. Watching her go was not easy but at least now she isn't suffering anymore! I still haven't forgotten her...she was cremated and her ashes are in a container beside my bed. One day I plan on letting her go competely. B. Evans

I can imagine your loss. There just aren't words sometimes but I am so sorry that you are losing her to cancer. Of course, there is no easy way to lose a beloved pet. I hope you can hold onto all your memories of her and never lose them. You sound like you were a wonderful owner to her.
