Older cat can't get food

18 yr. old cat
   
very thin, since losing weight
   
will eat canned and meat constantly
   
if food is not out, will follow me until I open another can
   
This was not her usual routine. This started about 3 months ago and am puzzled.
   
Just curious, as to the change.

Your cat needs a vet check. She could have diabetes, hyperthyoidism, cancer or any number of other problems. The constant hunger and the weight loss are not normal.
