My Aunt MURDERED my two dogs! Need advice!

We just recently moved to a bigger city and as it was it was going to be difficult to keep my two husky mix dogs. And my aunt beeing a breeder offered to take them in temporarily if I gave her a pen. And I did because I was assured by her that they would be fine, and if there were any problems to call me. It was only going to be for a little while, until we figured out where we could keep them because we wanted them. They were, after all, part of the family. Well it's been two months, and we were going to go visit them last weekend, and probably end up bringing them back here, because there was more room than first thought and I figured they could stay here and be pretty comfortable. However, it snowed and we didnt get to. Well this week come to find out that she had them both shot around 3 weeks ago (meaning she only had them for about a month) because according to her they were being problems. I had told her to call me if there were any, and guess what there were no calls to me. Last I heard, as a matter of fact, they were doing GREAT, there were no problems, and they even looked after her small dogs. I dont know what to do. I'm 17 years old and those dogs were like my brother and sister. They were my mothers children basically. They meant the world to us, and I cant believe that my aunt, whom we trusted would murder them like that, and keep it hidden for three weeks. I have no idea what to do. The sheriff in that county is her brother and it would do no good to call the police. I'm at a loss at this cruelty. Someone please give me some advice. She had no reasons to do what she did. Please someone help me.

OMG I would be LIVID!! How cold hearted and bitter is this woman! Wow sweety I am really sorry that your family member hurt you this way. If it were me and it sounds like there isn't a whole to do then I would just cut her off, No talking, No phoning, No leaving pets anywhere near this woman. She doesn't care about family so she doesn't need any. Did she say anything about why she did this? Even if they were having problems she should've called you and said to come back and get them. I don't know what to say here it's pretty shocking. Well like I said just disown the wench and give this info to evey other family member. Good Luck

i am so sorry for your tragitiy i would call the animal control even if her brother is the sheriff if you file a report then something has to be done and if that does not work then i would go to the new and make it known publically what does your mother have to say about this? i will give you this one i am proud of you because if it was me the police would have been called the day that i found out to remove my hands from around her neck. Make your story heard. i am sorry but be strong and stand up for what you believe in.
