I recently (2 weeks ago) purchased a six month old puppy. He is very lethargic and does not want to play at all. Is this normal? Could he be still trying to get used to the household?
What can we do to try and encourage him out of his shell? I have tried playing on the ground with a toy and he just sits and watches but does not want to play.
I believe he was in a crate for long periods of time with little socialization. I do have him scheduled for puppy training class but would like other suggestions.
Thank you,
joy
