Introducing 2 male dogs

We recently adopted a 2nd male dog from a pound who isnt fixed yet. Our dog seems to be annoyed with the new male dog...they already faught and both got nipped...How long does it take before they both get along? Is there anything we could do as human owners to make their meet pleasant?

I too recently added a new dog to the mix (won't bore ya here, but some of stuff is in new posts; excessivs barking)
   
You didn't say how old either dog's are; & unfortunately already have had an altercation. Neutering is definately on option, however, if it's an older dog, may not make a difference.
   
As I have learned, go slow & give both equal attention. You are dealing with three opinions, yours & both of theirs.
   
For now, you may have to keep them seperated untill they get used to each others presance. Then introduce them back to each other say on walks, or brief play times.
   
My Ootosh had taken to running up behind Sandy & diving through her back legs up to her tummy, & yes she nipped him good several times. Tonight, Ootosh was walked with a short leash & a choke coller. He is still a bit of an imp, but has new respect for "NO".
   
Have only had Sandy four days now & things are getting there slow but sure.
