Please Help.I really need to know what breed is this dog.

He is probably a "mutt", he looks like a mixture of Terrier and something else.
   
Why is it so important you know his breed. Just love him for the sweet dog he is.

By the way, I have a mutt that I have had for 14 years. People are always asking what breed he is. I always say "oh he is very rare, he,s a Saskatchewan Terrier" of course that is just where he was born.
