I posted a different note before but I guess no one had any suggestions :) I will word it differently and maybe someone has an idea for me. I have an older rescued beagle that we got about 3 months ago. Great dog but he has a peeing issue. He will pee outside with no problem but yet turn around after coming in and pee in the house. Not sure what to do. My house is stinking and the husband is furious. I just bought this stuff called Odorzout that someone from the rescue recommended. (Nature's miracle didn't help, nor did the many other things I tried). This stuff helps some but not enough either. Any suggestions as to getting Jake to stop? Also, what do I do to get the urine smell out?

Thanks..

Maybe your new dog isn't feeling secure yet so keeps marking his territory. Have you used baking soda? Just sprinkle it on whereever he's peed and let it sit for about half an hour. You might also try steam cleaning your carpet.

Is he neutered? That may help if he's marking his territory. Also pay attention to how much and how often he's going. If it's small amounts frequently he may have bladder or kidney problems. You're vet may also be able to offer some suggestions over the phone if you're certain he's healthy and just seems to be marking the area. Good luck
