Was a full blood screening done? Did they test for thyroid issues, Cushing's, etc? If not, I would have that done. Did they test for Lyme disease do you know? Ask what was tested for in the bloods. Not all tests are the same and not all things get looked at each test. Next, is he illiciting any pain from his back or other joints? Pain can make a dog less active. I would look at this route especially with a breed where spinal issues are not uncommon. But again, review the bloods and ask what was looked at and not. Best of luck!
