My dog decided to go to town on several fabric items around the house. She ate some of my pillow, a chunk of curtain, half of a shirt, and a large portion of her blanket. She is also currently battling worms so her bowels are already pretty backed up. I'm worried because of this she is going to have trouble passing the fabric. She has thrown up some of the pieces, but definitely not all of it. Is there anything I can do to help her pass it?

Try giving her some mineral oil (you can get it at the pharmacy) orally.

One tablespoon for a small dog, two for a medium, three for a big one.

Canned pumpkin is a good natural canine laxative; give her two tablespoons.

Use actual pumpkin, not pumpkin pie filling.

DO NOT give her human laxatives.

Get some rubber gloves because eventually she will go into the poop squat and straing but nothing will come out; that's probably the blanket.

You'll need to 'go fishing' to try to help her.

If she's in real discomfort go to the vet.

Good luck.
