My 17 month old min pin just broke his ankle on his hind right leg. We took him to the vet and he has a splint on it and some pain medications. Is there anything else such as supplements i can give him to help his healing? Like i know glucosamine is good for joints and such.....can i give him calcium supplements? i hear calcium supplements can harm the dog as well.....if not are there treats with supplements in them that might help him?
