My 1 yr old, 20 lb, malte-poo, is scared to death of being groomed. She acted traumatized during her first and only visit and I had to help the tech just to get her done. I don't want to put her through that again. She will sit still and let me trim with scissors, but forget the sheers. The scissors leave her with a choppy cut. Is there anything I can give her to relax her so the sheers can be used? I'll do it myself, but she still won't relax.
