I am currently in the process of buying a pitbull puppy from a person in a different city. We are planning to go pick up the puppy tomorrow and this morning the person we are buying from informed me that the puppy came up with a "hot spot" on its back this morning. I asked them to send me a picture of the hot spot because i have never seen or heard of one of these before. but the picture looked nothing like the pictures i found online while researching. Im a bit skeptical on whether i should buy this puppy now. Is this something to worry about?

I think you need to be able to see the puppy with your own eyes before committing to buy. It seems strange to be buying a puppy of a very common breed from a different city - why not look more locally?

I live in a small town and I already looked in the surrounding cities' animal shelters. All the pitbulls are grown and I would never take a chance like that. I also wanted a certain kind of pitull. Which I already looked in my area. Plus when I saw this puppy i fell in love with him. The town i got it in wasnt like in a different state or anything..just a few hours away...why settle for something just because its in a town a few minutes where youre at? Why not get the one you want?
