I need help with a dog sport(not sure of the name)

Hellow everyone! My dog, an austrailian shepard border collie mix 38 lbs and 3 years old, likes to run. i thought the disk sport (the one where you through the disk and the dog catches it) would be good for her, but she dosent even know how to play fetch much less catch something in mid air. Can you help me with some training tips? like how do you get the dog to catch it? or how do i reward or punish her depending on how well she does? If you could that would be great and i could start the sport. Also, do you know what the name of this sport is? thank you for all of your help!

you are talking about Frisbee. Check with your local kennel club for agility classes. You should be able to find your local club on the AKC site. You can go online to perhaps find agility clubs in your area. That is great that you are going to do this with her as these dogs have GOT to have a focus, a job to do. Both breeds are extremely intelligent & active.
