It's unusual for any dog to go this long without wanting to eat their food. I am hoping there is not a medical issue with them.

One way to get them to eat their food is to mix something in it that will make it more appealing to them. Chicken works really well usually. You can keep a small bowl of cooked chicken in your fridge and add a little to their food each time. The only downside to this is it could be were they won't eat their food without it again.

Also, it pays to buy a good quality dry food. As a pet sitter I have clients who use both good and bad foods. I can see a difference in their dogs appearance and energy level. I really don't like Purina's dog foods, they look and smell very artificial. Personally, I cook for my dogs but still use a little dry dog food too. At Sam's Club, I buy their brand (Member's Mark) of Exceed Lamb and Rice formula. It's an affordable high quality dog food. There are lots of slightly better foods available, but they are twice the price.

I hope they little guys get their appetite back soon!

Bull.

They are testing you to see if they can con something better out of you.

Don't start kissing their butts or you will spend the rest of their lives as their short-order cook, rushing back and forth with different and more expensive meals to please their highnesses.

Put the food down. Leave it for one hour. After that time take it up again whether or not they have eaten. They get nothing until their next regularly scheduled meal. NO TREATS. NO SNACKS.

If they cry, TOO BAD. They missed their chance to eat.

Pretty soon they'll learn to eat the meal they are given or go hungry.
