Ear Cropping and Tail docking is and should be left up to the breeder. I think that you are way off base with your statements to say the least. It is no different than getting a little plastic surgery. It is actually NO different than being circumcized as a baby. I don't know a man that remembers the pain or is in any way traumatized by it and if you ask me, that is a MUCH more sensitive area than the ears or tail of a dog. Or how about when we spay and neuter our dogs. It's amazing how people will moan about ear clipping like it's cruel. I will tell you that if I woke up one day and realized that I had just been spayed against my will, I would be a little more pissed about that than my ears being clipped. We do things because they are necessarry, If the breed standard says docked tail, we dock the tail, if it says clipped ears, we clip the ears. End of story.
