Hello there
A normal gestation period for canines is 63 days. She should be on a high quality food for optimum nutrition. One good one is Iames or Eukanuba. She can play...she will know when to rest. Towards the last week she will begin to have colostrum in her nipples and then you will see she wants to 'nest'...that is she searches for a place to have her babies that is safe.
Dogs should always be tested before they are bred....but obviously it is too late for that now.
She will need a whelping box of adequate size for her and the 6 or 8 babies she will have.
One good site on whelping is http://www.whelphelp.com
I hope I helped you some. Thre is much much more you need to learn about if she has an emergency or counting to see she has passed all the placenta's or what to do to resuscitate a newborn puppy. Learn the 'puppy swing' it will help you I am sure.
Good Luck!

First of all please do NOT type in all caps. It is considered rude, is hard to read, & is in violation of the board rules. She is 45 days pregnant & you haven't had her to the vet yet? You should get her to the vet immediately & she is far enough to have an ultra sound done. You will then know how many puppies are there. Why did you breed her when you know absolutely nothing about breeding or whelping? Why did you wait until she is almost due, to ask for help? Since you apparently had none of the health or genetic testing done, are you aware that if either dog had the STD brucellosis, you will most likely loose the whole litter. http://www.debbiejensen.com/
