Does Your Dog Watch TV?

My dad's Golden Retreiver goes crazy for "Meerkat Manor!" It's the funniest thing I've ever seen! She barks, howls and hops around all over the place when that show comes on!

my dog Molly is one year old,she watchs telly for any animals comeing on,then she runs at the telly jumping up and barking,i loved to watch pet planet,but i cant anymore,as i cant hear what they are saying for her barking,i used to think it was funny at first but now it annoys me,how can i stop her from doing it so i can watch animal planet in peace?HELP

One of my dogs loves watching tv. He prefers dog shows and agility competitions but also watches discovery channel type shows. I know he recognizes more than just shapes and sounds because he doesn't watch dramas or even commercials with humans! but as soon as the dog shows come back on he's focused.
