Dog licking bottom constantly

Every time we bring our dog home from grooming she goes crazy licking her bottom and dragging it across every surface she can. She has not stopped licking her bottom and "girl parts" for more than 20 minutes at a time over the last 24 hours. Why and what should we do? She's not swollen as if her glands need to be expressed this time, either.
