I have two problems. My 1 1/2 year od cat got hit by a car yesterday and his jaw broke on the side. The vet said there was nothing we could do except for a $2,000 operation from a bone surgeon. Unfortunately, we have to go with option B, which is take care of him until he learns to function his mouth. We have been feeding him baby food and water with a syringe. Any other suggestions or similar experiences?
Second, our other cat who is 7 saw the younger cat after the vet, smelled him and hasn't come out from under my bed since. Any ideas why?

here is some possible financial aid - start contacting them all right away. also, check with your local shelter for low cost vet care. I would get a second opinion
