Teddy has always been in good health but on Saturday she started vomiting and this has continued now for 4 days.

She normally eats a mixture or wet and dry food but within a few hours of eating the vomiting starts and continues throughout the day.

Once she has vomited all the food, all she brings up is similar to white foam, there is no fur in the vomit.

We have tried feeding her dry food on its own and wet food on its own but she can't keep either down.

She seems fine in every other way, as loving as ever and at times even playfull.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you

sounds like she may have ingested a foreign body. Possibly a string, or part of a toy, or even a piece of change..... You need to take her to a vet for an evaluation. If she can keep nothing down, she will deteriorate rapidly!

Hi, Many thanks for your response, I have tried a more luxurious cat food that comes in a pate form and she ate it without problem, she has kept 2 lots down and there are no signs of any sickness.

It just looks like she's decided that the food she's been eating for the past 18 months is not good enough any more and she prefers the "good stuff"

Many thanks
