Hiya,
I recently bought a white girl as part of my Persian breeding plan. She's registered as orange-eyed, and has odd eyed cats in her pedigree. But her eyes are very much a yellow-green colour (probably more green than yellow even!). I thought pure-bred Persians only come with orange, blue or odd eyes....so then is she not a full Persian?? Or has she just got bad eye colour? If anyone can shed some light, that would be fab...am MOST confused!!

o.k...Quick question...Is she ALL white ? I mean stark white with absolutely no hint of any color even on the tips ?? If so, green eyes may not be possible...A "chinchilla" Is a white cat with varying amounts of black tips..Now by varying amount, I mean that the tips may be so faint that you really have to look close to see it..A chinchilla can have green/gold or even deep emerald eyes...This is also true with the "shaded silver" color which is very close to the chinchilla in that there are faint black or "silver" tips...This would also explain the green eyes...Someone with more persian experience please join in !
