My cats name is Gracie. She is 1 year old and already pregnant. Although that's probably my fault since I let her outside all the time, but that's not the point. She is only about a week or two pregnant, I'm not totally possitive, but I don't want her to have her kittens outside. I know that probably just sounds stingy or something, but I'm worried that if she has her kittens outside that something could happen to them. I just want to know if cats in general or her breed of cats prefer either way. Gracie has snooped around my closet a few times; which is not normal, but I don't know if that means anything or not. Will you tell me if she will have them outside or inside? I don't want her to have them while I'm at school either, but that's out of your reach. hehe I'm just so worried and anxious. But this is not my first pregnant cat. All the other ones had their kittens inside. I wonder if there's a pattern there. Please help!!!

Hi, yes Gracie sounds like she's looking for somewhere quite where she can give birth. What we use to do is cut a cardboard box in half and put a old blanket in there, put it somewhere quite and she will find it and most likely use it. The best thing to do if you don't want her to give birth outside is keep her indoors when she's nearly due.
