Why Have My Cat’s Eyes Become Cloudy?

My cats eyes seem to have clouded over, should I be worried?

You need to take your cat to a vet as soon as possible. Cloudy eyes can be caused by a variety of diseases and in no case is this something to be ignored. Bacterial infections, glaucoma, fatty acid accumulation and ulcers are the most common causes. Cats also get cataracts (although it is not particularly common), this is a clouding of the lens and is more common in older cats. Some of these disorders are serious, they can be incredibly painful and lead to blindness if untreated.
