Social Combinations In Rabbits

Can two neutered males with plenty of exercise be placed together without fighting? Can a neutered male and an un-neutered female with plenty of exercise be placed together without fighting?

All rabbits which are going to coexist in a non-breeding pair need to be neutered (in any combination). If you are going to introduce two stranger rabbits, a male and female (both neutered) is usually the easiest combination, but not always. Introducing two neutered males is not likely to provide a happy ending, although it is not impossible.

They are likely to fight and, even though they are neutered, are likely to be aggressive and territorial. However, if you are buying two neutered males from the same litter and at the same time, you are likely to have much more success.
